Backpackers’ Japan and BJO will open “Arbor Onomichi” in April.
The former Onomichi Branch of Chugoku Bank has been renovated. The building has three floors. Making use of the atrium structure connecting the first and second floors, the first floor has been transformed into a lounge that connects a coffee shop, pub, hotel reception, and lobby, while guest rooms have been created across all floors, mainly on the third floor. There are 16 guest rooms in total, in five types: one approximately 50-square-meter signature room, one family room, nine double rooms, four twin rooms, and one dormitory.
At BERTH COFFEE, in addition to specialty coffee and in-house baked sweets, breakfasts and brunches made with local ingredients will be served. The PUB will feature a menu gathered from regions across Japan, centered on several types of draft beer, domestically produced craft beer, and natural wine. Both the coffee shop and the pub will be open not only to staying guests but also to non-staying visitors.
