
ANA Implements Special Ticket Handling Due to Severe Winter Weather in Japan
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has implemented special handling for flight tickets, as bad weather with snowfall and strong winds is expected in Japan.
As of 11:30 a.m. on January 12, special handling applies to flights to and from Sapporo/Chitose, Aomori, Odate-Noshiro, Akita, Shonai, Niigata, Noto, Toyama, and Komatsu on January 13.
For tickets on the affected flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds are accepted free of charge, regardless of delays or cancellations.
On January 13, due to strong winds, snow, and poor visibility, flights to and from Wakkanai, Sapporo/Chitose, Kushiro, Nemuro-Nakashibetsu, Hakodate, Aomori, Odate-Noshiro, Akita, Shonai, Niigata, Noto, Toyama, Komatsu, Tokyo/Narita, Hachijojima, and Tottori may experience delays or cancellations, or may be diverted to other airports, or return to the departure airport.
