Heathrow Airport to Invest £1.3 Billion in 2026 for Terminal Upgrades and Accessibility Improvements
Fukuoka International Airport will reopen the food hall “the foodtimes” in the domestic terminal on April 1.
In conjunction with the development of a new multi-purpose complex integrated with the domestic terminal, the food hall will be relocated from the current 2nd floor to a 3rd floor area that offers sweeping views of the runway. With the concept of “a food hall that both adults and children can fully enjoy together,” a total of eight eateries originating in Fukuoka and the Kyushu region will open.
The lineup will include “Kaisendon Hinode,” a popular seafood rice bowl and set meal specialty restaurant based in Fukuoka City; “Teppanyaki Tenjin Horumon,” a teppanyaki specialty restaurant known for its lively, performance-style cooking; “Inaba Udon,” a long-established Hakata udon restaurant founded in 1951; “Ringer Hut,” a Nagasaki-born champon noodle specialty chain; “Sasebo Burger C&B,” a Sasebo burger restaurant founded in 2016 with its main store in Sasebo City; “Curry Honpo,” a renowned restaurant serving the local specialty “Yaki Curry” (baked curry) that originated in Moji Port; “Bifuteki-ya UESUTAN,” a popular Fukuoka steak specialty restaurant founded in 1985; and “Ganso Hakata Sol Tako,” a salt-flavored takoyaki specialty shop that won the Gold Prize at the Kyushu Takoyaki Grand Prix.
The floor area is approximately 1,250 square meters, with about 400 seats. There will be a family area with raised tatami-style seating where diners can enjoy their meals while looking out over the runway, as well as a business area equipped with charging facilities.
The location is near the North Departure Security Checkpoint, next to “TSUTAYA.” Opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (last order).
