Four Seasons Hotel Osaka will offer a seasonal “Strawberry Afternoon Tea” featuring fresh Japanese strawberries from January 5 to April 2.
The sweets selection includes strawberry shortcake, pistachio and strawberry Paris-Brest, strawberry ganache cake, and strawberry and white chocolate mousse. Savories feature items such as a red wine flan tart combining smoked duck and strawberries, and a sandwich layered with nanohana (rapeseed blossoms), black truffle, and Okutanba chicken from Hyogo Prefecture. There are two types of scones: white chocolate & dried strawberry, and Earl Grey lemon tea. Guests can enjoy a free-flow of 10 kinds of teas, including black tea and flavored teas, plus 5 kinds of coffee. The venue is “Jardin,” the all-day French bistro on the first floor. The afternoon tea is served in 2-hour seatings between noon and 7:00 p.m. Prices start from 8,800 yen.
At “Farine,” the bakery shop on the first floor, a Strawberry Cake & Bread Collection made with Japanese strawberries will be available from January 9 to April 30. The lineup includes Strawberry Danish (1,200 yen), Strawberry Tart (1 piece 1,350 yen, whole 6,000 yen), Strawberry Scone (500 yen), and more.
