
Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya Offers Strawberry Afternoon Tea from January 5 to May 31
Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu will offer a “Strawberry Afternoon Tea” from January 5 through April 30.
On the first and second tiers, items include “Strawberry Soup,” “Strawberry and Chocolate Tart” topped with strawberry cream, “Strawberry Terrine” in which white wine enhances the flavor of the strawberries, “Strawberry and Pistachio Mousse,” “Strawberry Cheesecake,” and sweets featuring strawberries and Earl’s lemon, along with a “Strawberry Shortcake Parfait” served with strawberry and basil sorbet. The third tier will feature honey-lemon flavored “Marinated Vegetables,” “Deep-fried Shrimp Wrapped in Kataifi,” “Spanish Omelet,” “Truffle-scented Chicken Mousse,” and a “Strawberry Fruit Sandwich.” Two types of scones—strawberry and chocolate chip, and plain—will be served with strawberry jam, clotted cream, and milk jam.
The venue is the second-floor lounge “Sommerhaus.” Seating times are in two-hour slots starting from noon and from 2:30 p.m. Prices start from 6,800 yen, including tax and service charge. A set including free-refill sparkling wine will also be available. Reservations are required at least three days in advance via the website or by phone. Limited quantities.
