Hotel Granvia Kyoto will hold a “Strawberry Sweets Buffet” from January 9 to May 6.
Guests can enjoy all-you-can-eat servings of three recommended varieties of fresh strawberries of the day, along with an assortment of strawberry sweets such as shortcake, chiffon cake, and petite tarts. A “Kyoto Strawberry Parfait,” featuring the Japanese Nyohō strawberry (Nyohou) sealed in aroma with a pie crust on top and served in a glass, will be offered one per person to all guests of elementary school age and older. In addition, strawberry crêpes and strawberry sorbet made with liquid nitrogen will be finished in front of guests. The buffet will also include chocolate tarts, terrine au chocolat made with Valrhona chocolate, and light meals such as pasta and pizza.
The venue is the 2nd-floor café restaurant “Le Temps.” The buffet will be offered on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from January 9 to 31 and from April 10 to May 6, and daily from February 1 to April 5. Each seating is 75 minutes, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Prices are 7,000 yen for adults, 3,500 yen for elementary school students, and 1,750 yen for children aged 3 or older but younger than elementary school age. Tax and service charge are included.
