
Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya Offers Strawberry Afternoon Tea from January 5 to May 31
HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO in Japan will offer a “Strawberry & Chocolate Afternoon Tea” from January 30 to March 15.
The strawberries used are grown in Kyoto. The seven kinds of sweets include cacao madeleines baked in the in-store oven and coated with praline chocolate sauce, strawberry tartelettes, strawberry mousse, cacao and coffee verrine, terrine chocolat, and more. The six kinds of savory items feature seasonal ingredients along with strawberries and cacao, such as cacao tortilla mole poblano, white fish mousse with a strawberry veil, salad of small shrimp and strawberries, and a cacao-scented meat pie. As a premium option, the hotel also offers a plan that includes a strawberry parfait finished with chocolate sauce poured by the guest, along with three types of original mocktails. Over 20 kinds of free-flow drinks are available, including TWG teas.
The venue is the bar & lounge “THE GARDEN BAR.” Seating times are in two-hour slots starting at 12:00 noon, 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. The standard price is 7,800 yen, and the premium option is 9,800 yen per person. Tax and service charge are included.
