Japan Airlines (JAL) is running a campaign from December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026, offering the Class J surcharge starting from 1,100 yen.
The usual surcharge (from 2,200 yen) is reduced, allowing passengers to use Class J from 1,100 yen. The eligible routes are between Osaka/Itami and Aomori, Misawa, Yamagata, Sendai, Niigata, and Kagoshima within Japan, and are limited to nonstop flights operated by Embraer E190 aircraft. For the Niigata and Kagoshima routes, the surcharge starts from the amount obtained by adding 550 yen to the base surcharge.
Depending on seat availability, the surcharge may exceed 1,100 yen. Connections via Tokyo/Haneda are not eligible. (Photo: JAL)
