The Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special handling of flight tickets, as snowfall is expected due to a low-pressure system.
As of 6:00 p.m. on January 20, special handling applies to flights to and from Sapporo/Okadama and Okushiri on January 20, Sapporo/Chitose on the afternoon of January 20, and Sapporo/Okadama, Okushiri, Aomori, Misawa, Akita, Hanamaki, Yamagata, Niigata, Tajima, Oki, and Izumo on January 21.
For tickets on the affected flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds are available free of charge, regardless of delays or cancellations. Changes and refunds can be processed through the airline’s website.
