Noto Airport has decided to suspend all flights until the 24th due to the effects of the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred around 4:10 PM on the 1st.
The airport, which observed a seismic intensity of 6-upper, suffered damage to its terminal building and aviation bureau office. Inspection of the runway revealed 4 to 5 cracks, over 10 meters in length and 10 centimeters in depth, on the runway surface.
Noto Airport is served by All Nippon Airways (ANA), which operates two round trips daily between Tokyo/Haneda and Noto.
