Air China will suspend its Sapporo/Chitose–Beijing/Capital route from March 2.
The airline initially operated one round trip per day and had already planned additional suspensions on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from October 27, 2025, and on Wednesdays from December 24 of the same year. From March 3, it will further reduce service by suspending three weekly round trips on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The suspension period runs until March 28, due to aircraft rotation (fleet allocation) reasons.
The route is operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight time is 4 hours 50 minutes from Sapporo/Chitose to Beijing/Capital, and between 3 hours 25 minutes and 3 hours 35 minutes from Beijing/Capital to Sapporo/Chitose.
This route is operated exclusively by Air China.
