Air China Suspends and Reduces Flights on Japan–China Routes for Summer Schedule
Jetstar Japan resumed operations on the Tokyo/Narita–Hong Kong route on February 13.
The airline operates one round-trip flight per day, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The required flight time is 5 hours and 15 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 4 hours and 10 minutes from Hong Kong.
This marks the first resumption of the route in about six years following its suspension during the COVID-19 pandemic. Including this route, Jetstar Japan’s international network has expanded to seven routes: Tokyo/Narita–Shanghai/Pudong, Taipei/Taoyuan, Manila, and Kaohsiung, as well as Osaka/Kansai–Taipei/Taoyuan and Manila.
The inaugural flight, GK27 from Tokyo/Narita, departed at 8:28 p.m. and took off at 8:51 p.m. The flight operated with load factors close to full capacity.
