JAL Suspends Tokyo Haneda–Doha Flights Through March 3 Due to Middle East Situation
Scoot launched its Tokyo/Haneda–Singapore route on March 1 (departing Tokyo/Haneda and arriving the following day).
The airline operates one round trip per day using Boeing 787 aircraft. The flight time is 7 hours and 15 minutes from Tokyo/Haneda, and 6 and a half hours from Singapore.
This is Scoot’s first time operating flights to and from Tokyo/Haneda. Including this route, Scoot will serve 5 Japanese cities in total—Sapporo/Chitose, Tokyo/Narita, Osaka/Kansai, Okinawa/Naha, and Tokyo/Haneda—with 45 round trips per week. The expansion responds to growing demand and enhances connectivity and travel options.
From 11:00 a.m. on March 5 through March 15, Scoot will offer special promotional fares to commemorate the launch. The fares apply not only to Singapore but also to destinations in Australia and Indonesia. Scoot will also hold a pop-up event, “Scoot Cart,” at Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan on March 13, and at Shinjuku Southern Terrace on March 14 and 15.
Hidetoshi Yasutake, General Manager for Japan, commented, “We are very pleased that the launch of our new route to Tokyo/Haneda has enabled us to further expand our network in Japan. Japan has been, and will continue to be, an important market for Scoot. Through our extensive network, of which we are very proud, we will provide customers in Japan with greater convenience and connectivity, while also working to promote inbound travel to Japan. Scoot currently serves five cities in Japan, operating both non-stop flights to Singapore and flights via Taipei. We will continue to offer customers in Japan seamless connectivity with greater value, comfort, and reliability.”
