i-mobile has changed the expiration date for charged Furunavi Money balances to have no expiration period.
Furunavi Money is a payment service that can be used across Furunavi-related services in Japan. It is available to Furunavi members after identity verification. At accommodation facilities, users can scan the QR code installed at the front desk to make payments.
Initially, the expiration date was the last day of the fifth month after the charge date, but it will now be indefinite. Any bonus amount added through promotions will continue to expire on the last day of the 12th month after it is granted.
Charges can be made using credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club.
