ANA Boeing 787-9 Makes Tailstrike on Landing in Houston; Return Flight Canceled
J-AIR, a regional airline of Japan, will operate the “J-AIR 30th Anniversary JET” (Embraer E170 aircraft, registration: to be announced) from April 1 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its founding.
A special 30th anniversary logo has been placed near the rear door. The concept of the logo is “the trajectory that connects Japan’s nature and local regions.” The background represents Japan’s rich natural environment, while the surrounding lines are designed to evoke the airline’s network routes. The aircraft is scheduled to operate with this livery until March 31, 2027.
J-AIR began operations in 1996, based at Hiroshima-Nishi Airport, with a fleet of four aircraft. Initially, it operated JC31 aircraft, then used CRJ200 aircraft from 2001 to 2018, Embraer E170 aircraft from 2009, and Embraer E190 aircraft from 2016. Its fleet has now expanded to 32 aircraft, operating 38 routes to 28 airports within Japan. The airline will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its founding on August 8.
