Qatar Airways to Partially Resume Operations from March 18
British Airways will increase the frequency of its Tokyo/Haneda–London/Heathrow route to two round trips per day from March 29 (departing Japan, arriving the following day).
Flights BA8/7 will be operated with Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, and flights BA6/5 with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The flight time will be between 14 hours 45 minutes and 14 hours 50 minutes from Tokyo/Haneda, and between 13 hours 35 minutes and 13 hours 50 minutes from London/Heathrow.
This increase is driven by growing demand from business and leisure travelers. On the airline’s website, searches for the Tokyo/Haneda–London route during the week of March 2 rose by 58% compared to the previous month. Operations are expected to continue into the winter schedule.
