The Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special handling of flight tickets, as snowfall is expected to affect operations in Japan.
As of 7:00 p.m. on March 19, special handling applies to flights arriving at and departing from Sapporo/New Chitose and Sapporo/Okadama from 6:00 p.m. onward on March 20. Depending on future weather conditions, the applicable routes and period may be expanded.
For tickets on the affected flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds are available free of charge regardless of delays or cancellations. Changes and refunds can be processed via the airline’s website.
There is also a possibility that operations on flights to and from Sapporo/New Chitose, Sapporo/Okadama, Hakodate, and Okushiri on March 20 may be affected.
