Singapore Airlines Temporarily Splits Singapore–Milan–Barcelona Route and Increases Nonstop Singapore–Barcelona Flights
Japan Airlines (JAL) has decided to cancel its Tokyo/Haneda–Doha route through April 11.
The cancellations apply to flights departing Tokyo/Haneda from February 28 through April 10, and flights departing Doha from March 1 through April 11. This route normally operates one round trip per day.
Taking into account the situation in the Middle East, JAL stated, “We will continue to give top priority to the safety of our customers and employees, and will review our operational policy based on the latest information from international organizations and relevant authorities.”
Airspace over various Middle Eastern countries has been closed, and Hamad International Airport in Doha remains closed except for some relief flights. There is also a possibility that aircraft types will be changed on certain routes between Japan and Europe.
