
Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Park Hyatt Tokyo is offering its “Blossom Afternoon Tea” from March 16 to May 10.
The menu features dishes in colors reminiscent of flowers, served course by course. Savory items showcasing spring ingredients include tuna and avocado temari sushi accented with wasabi and shiso, fresh spring rolls with grilled chicken breast paired with rapeseed blossoms and eggplant, a tart of new onions, broad beans, and mushrooms, salmon with beet cream cheese, and a quiche with green asparagus and sakura shrimp. Sweets include choux pastries filled with vanilla mousseline, matcha and raspberry mousse, and an apricot and chocolate parfait. Canelés, madeleines, scones, sakura jelly, and rice flour Baumkuchen are served from a trolley.
The venue is The Peak Lounge on the 41st floor. The afternoon tea is available from noon to 5:00 p.m. The price is 9,900 yen (tax included, service charge not included).
