Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide has opened the “Fukuoka Prince Hotel Momochihama” in Fukuoka, Japan, on March 17.
The building has 20 floors above ground and a total of 229 guest rooms, all with ocean views overlooking Hakata Bay, the Genkai Sea, and the city of Fukuoka. The Standard Floors on the 5th to 16th floors have an average size of 32 square meters, and some rooms are equipped with extra beds to accommodate up to three guests. The Club Floors on the 17th to 20th floors feature two types of suites; the Retreat Suite comes with a terrace and bathroom facing the sea. The exclusive club lounge on the top floor has an adjoining terrace where guests can enjoy light meals and drinks.
The all-day dining restaurant “YOCATERRACE,” which has outdoor terrace seating, serves French-based cuisine that makes use of local ingredients, as well as the hotel’s classic signature dishes. The lunch “Choice of 7 Main Dishes & Half Buffet” starts from 3,600 yen per person, while dinner courses featuring dishes such as confit of Spanish mackerel from Fukuoka Prefecture and roast duck with pistachios start from 9,000 yen per person. An à la carte menu is also available. Other facilities in the hotel include a café, an event hall, a fitness gym, a laundry room, and parking for 62 cars.
Access: Approximately 20 minutes by car from Fukuoka Airport, and about 6 minutes by car from Nishiijin Station on the Fukuoka City Subway.
