Hilton to Open Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts in 2027
Hilton will open “Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts” in 2027.
The property will be located at the former Hotel Gajoen Tokyo and will offer 60 guest rooms. Facilities will include a fitness center, a spa, and approximately 5,700 square meters of meeting space. There will be five food and beverage outlets, including an all-day dining restaurant and specialty restaurants.
For the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand, this will be the second property in Japan, following ROKU KYOTO, which opened in September 2021, and its first opening in Tokyo. Additional LXR-branded hotels are planned for Hiroshima, Hakone Gora, and Niseko in Hokkaido.
Prior to the grand opening, Hilton plans to renovate some facilities and guest rooms and resume operations of accommodations and dining outlets around mid-2026.
Access: Approximately a 3-minute walk from the West Exit of Meguro Station on the JR Yamanote Line, and about a 3-minute walk from Meguro Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line, Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, and Toei Mita Line.
The former Hotel Gajoen Tokyo had suspended operations at the end of September 2025 due to the expiration of its fixed-term building lease agreement with the property owner. In January of the same year, Canada-based Brookfield Asset Management acquired a portion of Hotel Gajoen Tokyo.
