Japanese airline Skymark has updated its aircraft fleet plan.
For fiscal year 2025, the carrier plans to operate a fleet of 29 aircraft. For fiscal years 2026 and 2027, it will operate 30 aircraft, and from fiscal years 2028 through 2030, it plans to operate 33 aircraft. Originally, Skymark had assumed a fleet of 32 aircraft in both fiscal 2026 and 2027.
In fiscal 2026, Skymark will take delivery of its first Boeing 737-8 aircraft, and from fiscal 2027 it will begin introducing the Boeing 737-10. The Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be retired in stages.
