Japan Airlines (JAL) has reduced the fuel surcharge for its international flights, applicable to itineraries departing from the Philippines, for tickets issued on or after May 16.
For itineraries departing from the Philippines, the fuel surcharge for tickets issued from May 15 to 31 will be set at 41 US dollars. Until tickets issued on May 15, it was 51 US dollars. The surcharge for tickets issued in June has yet to be determined.
When the country of travel commencement is a country other than Japan, JAL and Japan Transocean Air (JTA) set fuel surcharges that differ from those applied to departures from Japan.
