Hong Kong Airlines will launch a new Hong Kong–Lanzhou route on May 26.
The airline will operate one round-trip flight per week on Tuesdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 3 hours 25 minutes from Hong Kong and 3 hours 45 minutes from Lanzhou.
Lanzhou is the only provincial capital in China through which the Yellow River flows, and it has developed as an important commercial hub on the Silk Road. The city is home to tourist attractions such as Yellow River Tower, Zhongshan Bridge, and Baita Mountain, and is also known for Lanzhou beef noodles.
