The JAL Group will implement special measures for flight tickets, as adverse weather conditions are expected due to the approach of Typhoon No. 6.
As of 4:50 p.m. on May 29, special measures apply to flights operating as follows: on June 1 to and from Tarama and Yonaguni; from June 1 to 2 to and from Okinawa/Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki; from June 1 through the morning of June 2 to and from Tanegashima, Yakushima, Kitadaito, Minamidaito, and Kumejima; from May 31 to June 2 to and from Yoron; and from May 31 through the morning of June 2 to and from Kikaijima, Amami Oshima, Tokunoshima, and Okinoerabu.
For tickets on affected flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds will be accepted free of charge, regardless of delays or cancellations. One change per ticket is permitted free of charge, regardless of the type of ticket.
Typhoon No. 6 is expected to intensify as it moves northward and approach the Okinawa and Amami regions of Japan with strong force from June 1 to 2.
