
JAL Group Implements Special Ticket Measures Due to Approaching Typhoon No. 6
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will implement special measures for flight tickets as Typhoon No. 6 is expected to affect operations in Japan.
As of 8:30 p.m. on June 1, special measures apply to flights to and from Okinawa/Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki between noon on May 31 and June 2; Saga, Oita, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Goto-Fukue, Kagoshima, Hagi-Iwami, Iwakuni, Yamaguchi-Ube, Tokushima, Takamatsu, Kochi, and Matsuyama on June 2; Osaka/Itami, Osaka/Kansai, and Kobe on the afternoon of June 2; Nagoya/Chubu between June 2 and 3; and Shizuoka, Tokyo/Narita, Tokyo/Haneda, and Hachijojima on June 3.
Regardless of the actual operating status of the affected flights, ANA will allow changes, rebooking, or refunds of tickets free of charge.
ANA has already decided to cancel a total of 80 flights: 67 flights on June 2 and 13 flights on June 3.
