Naha Airport Passenger Terminal to Reopen as Usual from 6:00 a.m. on June 2 After Typhoon No. 6
Air India opened its first “The Maharaja Lounge” outside India at San Francisco International Airport on May 23.
The lounge features a modern design infused with Indian aesthetics, and includes a bar area named the “Aviators Bar” and a buffet-style dining area (with a live cooking station, hot buffet, cold counter, and drink station). There is also a dedicated “Private Zone” exclusively for First Class passengers, offering runway views, greater privacy, and premium services. The lounge covers approximately 3,300 square feet and can accommodate up to 80 guests.
It is located near Gate A1 in the International Terminal. Access is available to Air India First and Business Class passengers, as well as Maharaja Club Platinum and Gold members.
The opening of this lounge follows the launch earlier this year of Air India’s flagship Maharaja Lounge in Delhi and is the second in the airline’s rollout of its new-generation signature lounges. It forms part of Air India’s transformation program, “Vihaan.AI”.
