Hilton to Open Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts in 2027
THE THOUSAND KYOTO will offer “THE MELON SEASON Parfait Afternoon Tea” from May 29 to July 12.
The first installment of the series features melon as its theme, with a welcome drink and parfait made with melon, six kinds of melon sweets, melon cream bread, and five kinds of savory items. Around 30 varieties of free-flow drinks will be available, including Japanese black tea, black tea, Japanese green tea, and coffee.
During the same period, the parfait “Luxe Melon Bowl,” served in a melon shell, will also be available. In addition to ordering it à la carte or as a drink set, guests can upgrade the welcome parfait of the afternoon tea to this item.
For each use of the eligible afternoon tea, a stamp will be added to the shop card on THE THOUSAND KYOTO’s official LINE account. Guests who collect four stamps will receive an exclusive sweet created by the pastry chef of TEA AND BAR. The stamp-earning period runs from May 29 to November 23, and the redemption period for the reward is from January 4 to February 28, 2027. To use the benefit, advance reservation and a separate drink order are required.
The offerings will be available at TEA AND BAR, the café and bar on the second floor. Afternoon tea will be served in three seatings: 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The “Luxe Melon Bowl” will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prices start from 7,000 yen for afternoon tea; the Luxe Melon Bowl is 4,000 yen à la carte or 4,800 yen with a drink set. Upgrading the afternoon tea welcome parfait to the Luxe Melon Bowl costs 2,000 yen. All menus require reservations by noon two days in advance, and the Luxe Melon Bowl is limited to 10 servings per day. All prices include service charge and consumption tax.
