Etihad Airways launched a new route between Abu Dhabi and Salalah on May 21.
The airline began operations with two round trips per week on Thursdays and Sundays, and from June 15 will increase to five round trips per week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to coincide with the Khareef season. The route is operated with Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Salalah is the second destination in Oman for Etihad Airways after the capital city Muscat. Located on the Arabian Peninsula, Salalah is a resort destination known for its lush green scenery, untouched beaches, and rich cultural heritage.
