
Tokyo Monorail to Open Part of New Hamamatsucho Station Building on June 13
Kintetsu Railway (Kintetsu) will operate the “Midnight Hinotori” on July 19 and August 15.
The limited express train “Hinotori” will run late at night as a chartered group-only train between Kintetsu Nagoya Station and Osaka-Namba Station. The train departing Kintetsu Nagoya Station leaves at 11:32 p.m. and arrives at Osaka-Namba Station at 6:16 a.m. The train departing Osaka-Namba Station leaves at 12:01 a.m. the following day and arrives at Kintetsu Nagoya Station at 7:02 a.m.
The capacity is 122 passengers per day, with 36 premium seats and 86 regular seats available. Each train will stop for about four hours at Nabari Station en route, where a light meal, the “Iga Beef Shigureni Bento,” will be distributed to passengers at their seats. Boarding or alighting at Nabari Station is not permitted. As a tour souvenir, an original “Hinotori” eye mask will be provided.
The tour price varies depending on the departure and arrival stations. For departures and arrivals at Kintetsu Nagoya Station, premium single and pair seats cost 9,900 yen for adults and 7,060 yen for children. Regular seats for one person using two seats cost 8,000 yen for adults and 5,800 yen for children, while regular seats for two people using two seats cost 6,200 yen for adults and 3,850 yen for children, among other options. Reservations are accepted online, at the Kintetsu Travel Reservation Center, and at Kintetsu station travel offices. Online reservations are accepted up to 14 days before departure.
This tour is also scheduled to be offered on September 21, October 11, and November 21.
