Hilton to Open Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts in 2027
Hilton and ORIX Real Estate have signed an agreement for the opening of Conrad Kobe, which is scheduled to open in 2030 in Kobe, Japan.
The hotel is planned as part of the redevelopment project for Kobe City Hall Main Building No. 2. The development is being carried out jointly by a consortium led by ORIX Real Estate, together with Hankyu Hanshin Properties, Kanden Realty & Development, Daiwa House Industry, Fuyo General Lease, Takenaka Corporation, and Yasuda Real Estate. Hilton will operate the hotel.
The hotel will occupy part of a newly built high-rise mixed-use building, specifically the 4th floor and the 20th to 28th floors above ground. It will be directly connected via an underground passage to Sannomiya-Hanadokeimae Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway, offering excellent access to major tourist attractions in Kobe such as the Former Foreign Settlement and Nankinmachi (Kobe Chinatown).
The hotel will feature a total of 136 guest rooms, including suites. Facilities will include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge, a cocktail bar, an executive lounge, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa, as well as a ballroom of approximately 500 square meters and meeting spaces.
Conrad Kobe will be the fifth Conrad-branded hotel in Japan, including Conrad Nagoya, which is scheduled to open on July 31, and Conrad Yokohama, which is slated to open in 2027.
