ANA to Increase International Fuel Surcharge From July 1 Ticketing
Saudia has introduced Panasonic Avionics’ next-generation in-flight entertainment (IFE) solution, “Astrova,” on its Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
This also brings the “Modular Interactive (MI)” platform and the 3D interactive map application “Arc” on board. A total of 15 aircraft will be equipped.
Furthermore, Astrova will be retrofitted on an additional 46 aircraft: 15 Airbus A321s, 12 Airbus A330s, and 19 Boeing 777s.
The system features 4K OLED HDR10+ monitors, spatial audio using Bluetooth technology, and USB-C power outlets of up to 67W. “MI Studio,” the core of the MI platform, is a fully featured interactive design tool that enables rapid deployment of seasonal updates, campaigns, loyalty programs, and custom content to the seatback interface. The 3D moving map “Arc” combines real-time data with immersive storytelling to intuitively introduce destinations, points of interest, and branded content.
