
Avani Kyoto Premium Lifestyle Hotel to Open in 2029 in Kyoto Shimbun Building Redevelopment
Conrad Tokyo will offer the “Cherry & Rose Afternoon Tea La Fleur” from June 16 through July 31.
With cherries and roses as its theme, the afternoon tea pairs five types of sweets and three types of savory items with two kinds of scones: plain and cherry. The sweets lineup includes Rose & Lychee Verrine, Cherry & Passion Fruit Mousse, Pistachio Cake with Rose and Griotte Cherries, Japanese Rose & Apricot Tart, and Coconut Mousse with Rose-Scented Raspberry Jelly. Beverages include about 20 varieties such as Ronnefeldt teas, WABARA rose petal tea, and coffee, all with free refills.
For the Deluxe Afternoon Tea, the standard afternoon tea menu is enhanced with a plate of Chicken Ballotine and Foie Gras Mousse with Black Cherries and Fresh Cherries, plus a glass of champagne for toasting and a Conrad Bear. The deluxe set includes four types of sweets and four types of savory items.
During the same period, a night-only “Cherry & Rose Night Tea” will also be available, featuring four kinds of sweets and four kinds of savory items. Drinks will be offered in a free-flow style and include beer, sparkling wine, red and white wine, as well as coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
The venue is the Bar & Lounge “TwentyEight” on the 28th floor of Conrad Tokyo. Serving hours are two-hour seatings from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for Afternoon Tea, and two-hour seatings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for Night Tea, with last seating at 7:30 p.m. Night Tea requires advance reservations, accepted until 9:00 a.m. on the day of use.
Prices are 7,900 yen on weekdays and 8,500 yen on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays for the Standard Afternoon Tea; from 9,400 yen for the Standard Afternoon Tea with Conrad Bear; and from 11,000 yen for the Cherry & Rose Night Tea. All prices include tax and service charge.
