
IHG to Open Holiday Inn Express Sapporo Susukino on July 17
Japanese hotel chain APA Hotel and Sanyo Foods will launch “Sapporo Ichiban APA President Curry Beef Curry Flavor Noodles” nationwide in Japan from June 22.
This cup noodle has been created under the supervision of APA Hotel to recreate the flavor of “APA President Curry,” the hotel’s signature beef curry. The soup is based on the savory taste of beef, combined with the sweetness of onion, the rich flavor of demi-glace sauce, and the acidity of tomato, resulting in a deep, spice-fragrant finish. The toppings feature cabbage and minced meat, selected to match APA President Curry. The noodles are supple with a firm surface, seasoned so that they blend well with the soup. The total content is 71 grams (including 50 grams of noodles). The suggested retail price is 236 yen (excluding tax).
APA President Curry is APA Hotel’s original beef curry that was first released in March 2011. Inspired by Kanazawa-style curry, it is a genuine, restaurant-quality dish served with cabbage on the side. As of April this year, cumulative sales have reached 15 million servings.
