Avani Kyoto Premium Lifestyle Hotel to Open in 2029 in Kyoto Shimbun Building Redevelopment
Sheraton Kagoshima is offering a “Mango & Tropical Fruit Afternoon Tea” from June 1 to July 31.
The tea stand is filled with sweets made with mango and other tropical fruits, savory items created by a chef who won first place in a French cuisine competition in Japan, and homemade scones. It is served as a set that begins with an “art smoothie” as the first course, paired with a free-flow drinks menu that includes the hotel’s original teas.
The sweets lineup consists of five items, including coconut pudding with passion fruit sauce, mango and tropical fruit marinade, mango pudding and yogurt mousse, and coconut mousse tart. The five savory items are marinated white fish with passion fruit sauce, teriyaki chicken tsukune slider, cheese ball with tropical chili sauce, Cajun-style tortilla, and polenta with tomato olive sauce. Plain and coconut scones are served with mango and pineapple jam and clotted cream.
The venue is VIVARIUM Bar on the 19th floor. The afternoon tea is offered in two-hour sessions starting from 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The price is 6,000 yen (tax and service charge included).
