Japan Airlines (JAL) has extended, as of June 18, the applicable period for special handling of air tickets due to the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East.
The special handling applies to itineraries that include flights to or from Doha and Dubai for travel through October 1, for tickets issued by February 28 with ticket numbers beginning with “131”.
If the reserved flight is canceled, one change to an alternative flight or one refund is permitted. If the flight is not canceled, only a refund is available.
JAL has decided to cancel its Tokyo/Haneda–Doha route from February 28 through September 1 (departure from the local point).
