
JAL Cancels Tokyo Haneda–Doha Flights Through September 1
Shin Nihonkai Ferry will change the timetable for its Tsuruga–Niigata–Akita–Tomakomai East route from October 1.
The number of round trips between Tsuruga, Niigata, and Akita will be increased from one to three per week, resulting in three round trips per week over the entire route. Additional departures from Tsuruga will begin on October 4.
In addition, a temporary disembarkation service at Niigata Port will be introduced for passengers holding tickets from Tsuruga to Akita or Tomakomai. Passengers will be able to spend around 15 hours sightseeing in Niigata, Japan.
The vessels deployed on the route are the “Lily” and the “Eucalyptus,” each 199.9 meters in length, with a gross tonnage of 18,229 tons and a passenger capacity of 846.
