Craft Beer Café “NRT BEER FLIGHT CAFE” to Open in Narita International Airport Terminal 2 on June 26
London Heathrow Airport has released a limited-edition “Top Trumps” card game to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its opening.
The cards feature some of the airport’s most popular destinations, ranging from domestic routes such as Edinburgh to long-haul routes including New York, Santiago, and Mexico City, showcasing a wide variety of places you can fly to from Japan via London Heathrow. Each card lists statistics such as population, flight time, distance from Heathrow, and the number of departures per day, and also includes an aerial photograph of the destination. There is also a “visited” checkbox where players can mark the cities they have already traveled to.
The “Top Trump” winner is New York, which is the most popular destination from London Heathrow Airport. An aerial photograph of Mount Fuji in Japan is used on the front cover of the card pack, emphasizing that this is a special edition linked to flights between Japan and the United Kingdom. Santiago and Mexico City are highlighted as routes that, within the United Kingdom, have direct flights only from Heathrow Airport.
The card game is sold for GBP 9.99 at vending machines and at WHSmith and Relay stores in all terminals.
