Livemax has reopened the property as “Livemax Resort Kanonji” following a rebranding on June 30.
The hotel was formerly Kamenoi Hotel Kanonji. Guest rooms include a variety of types such as Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, mixed Japanese-Western rooms, special rooms, and universal-access rooms. Making use of local resources, the resort promotes a style of stay that combines local cuisine, hot springs, and sightseeing in the surrounding area.
Facilities inside the hotel include a large public bath with natural hot spring water pumped up from underground, as well as a laundry corner, a shop, a game corner, and karaoke rooms. For meals, the hotel serves dishes prepared with seafood from the Seto Inland Sea and ingredients from Kagawa Prefecture, incorporating the local food culture. A renovation to enhance the sauna facilities is planned in order to further improve the functions of the bathing area.
