Gunma Prefecture will suspend accepting applications for the “GUNMA PASSPORT” and change the distribution method from first-come, first-served to a lottery system.
Lottery applications will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. on July 9 to noon on July 15 via the official Gunma Prefecture LINE account, “Gunma Prefecture Digital Window.” A total of 20,000 copies will be available. The results will be announced on July 17. Distribution will begin at the Gunma Prefectural Government Office on July 18, and at the Tokyo and Osaka offices on July 21.
Originally, applications were scheduled to be accepted on July 8 and 17. The prefectural government plans to increase the print run in a planned manner based on the number of lottery applications received, and further details will be announced separately.
