Hilton to Open Gajoen Tokyo LXR Hotels & Resorts in 2027
SC Capital Partners Group, a real estate investment management company, has acquired Citadines Central Shinjuku Tokyo through its managed Japan Hospitality Fund.
The hotel has 206 guest rooms. Compared to neighboring hotels, it offers larger room inventory and is located in an area with strong leisure and business demand. The group positions this as a rare investment opportunity that can be transformed into a higher value-added accommodation facility. Going forward, it plans to implement comprehensive value-add initiatives to enhance the guest experience and strengthen the property’s medium- to long-term competitiveness.
Tokyo’s hotel market continues to enjoy favorable conditions, supported by robust growth in inbound tourism and solid domestic travel demand. At the same time, new hotel supply remains limited due to rising construction costs, labor shortages, and persistently high financing costs. As a result, a favorable medium- to long-term supply–demand environment is being formed for well-located hotel assets.
SC Capital Partners Group holds a majority stake in Japan Hotel REIT Advisors. Japan Hotel REIT Advisors is the asset management company for Japan Hotel REIT Investment Corporation, a Japan-based REIT specializing in hotel assets.
