JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) has updated its response to the situation in the Middle East.
The company will suspend the operation of organized package tours departing Japan by August 19 that transit via Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, as well as tours departing Japan by August 21 to countries and regions for which Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued risk information “Level 2” or “Level 3” as the destination. This applies to the overseas tour brands “JTBMySTYLE” and tours with accompanying tour conductors or local staff.
Meanwhile, H.I.S. (HIS) will resume, from departures on August 7, the operation of overseas package tours (Ciao, impresso) and overseas flight + hotel products (organized package tours) that transit via Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi. For more information
