Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa is offering its “Summer Afternoon Tea – Forest Serenity –” from June 1 through August 31.
Under the theme “Forest Serenity,” which evokes the tranquility of Hakone’s forests, the afternoon tea incorporates vegetables such as tomatoes, corn, lettuce, and shiso leaves, along with fruits including mangoes, pineapples, kiwis, and peaches, into both sweets and savory items. Herbs and spices such as chamomile, jasmine, cardamom, and cinnamon are combined in a selection centered on the greens of pistachio, matcha, and Ashigara tea, as well as yellows reminiscent of lemon and chamomile.
Guests may enjoy unlimited selections of Ronnefeldt teas and herbal teas, as well as coffee, café latte, espresso, and Japanese tea.
The afternoon tea is served in the Living Room from noon to 2:30 p.m. Prices are 5,200 yen, or 6,200 yen including a glass of champagne. All prices include tax but exclude service charge. Available in limited quantities.
