AirAsia to Launch Experiential Brand Campaign at AirAsia HYROX Chiba
Etihad Airways and Abra Group have agreed to a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing connectivity and signed a memorandum of understanding.
The companies will cooperate in areas including network development, frequent-flyer programs, aircraft leasing, ACMI services, and broader commercial collaboration. They will mutually expand access to destinations across the Middle East, Asia, the Indian subcontinent, Australia, and Central and South America.
Abra Group’s Avianca, GOL, and Wamos Air, together with Etihad Airways, plan to implement frequent-flyer partnerships, commercial cooperation, and codeshare flights, with launch anticipated within the year.
Etihad Airways is also evaluating the possibility of dry leasing Airbus A330-900 aircraft from GOL, with a target start date of November. Wamos Air will also support Etihad Airways’ expansion plans.
