LATAM Airlines will begin operating Embraer E195-E2 aircraft on November 30.
The aircraft will have 136 seats in a two-class configuration, consisting of Premium Economy and Economy Class. Premium Economy will have between 8 and 28 seats, while Economy Class will have between 108 and 128 seats.
The aircraft will operate on domestic routes in Brazil, initially serving the São Paulo–Rondonópolis route with seven weekly round trips and the São Paulo–Ji-Paraná and Cabo Frio routes with four weekly round trips. Routes and frequencies will be gradually expanded through March 2027.
LATAM Airlines said the aircraft will enable it to develop new markets, expand its existing operations, and provide service to more destinations in a sustainable manner.
LATAM Airlines has placed firm orders for 24 aircraft and holds options for a further 50. The first Embraer E195-E2 to be delivered was unveiled to the media in São José dos Campos in June. The aircraft features expanded brand identity markings, increasing the brand’s visibility when passengers share photos.
