Thai AirAsia will resume daily round-trip service on its Fukuoka–Bangkok/Don Mueang route.
The airline currently operates four round trips per week, departing Fukuoka on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and Bangkok/Don Mueang on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. From September 22, the service will return to one round trip per day. Airbus A321neo aircraft will be used. Flight time is 5 hours and 30 minutes from Fukuoka and 5 hours and 20 minutes from Bangkok/Don Mueang.
The route began operations on October 12, 2022, with three round trips per week, marking Thai AirAsia’s first service to Japan. It was increased to four round trips per week in October of the same year and to one daily round trip in March 2023. The service had been reduced to four round trips per week from May 2 this year.
