Cathay Pacific will launch a new route between Hong Kong and Almaty on January 9, 2027.
The airline will operate three weekly round trips on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Flight time will be 7 hours and 5 minutes from Hong Kong and 6 hours and 10 minutes from Almaty.
Almaty, Kazakhstan’s commercial and cultural center, is a gateway to Central Asia. This will be Cathay Pacific’s first destination in Central Asia and the only nonstop passenger service connecting Hong Kong and Kazakhstan.
