JR Hokkaido Announces 2027 Operating Plans for the Red Star Train
JR East is running its “Let’s Travel by Train with Sakurazaka46” campaign from July 20 through November 30.
A digital stamp rally offering limited-edition merchandise featuring newly photographed visuals of the members wearing stationmaster uniforms is being held at 13 stations in the Niigata, Nagano and Shonai areas. After obtaining location information in the Tokyo metropolitan area, participants can collect digital stamps by scanning QR codes displayed on posters at each station. Eligible stations are Niigata, Echigo-Yuzawa, Shibata, Tsubame-Sanjo and Murakami in the Niigata area; Nagano, Iiyama, Shinonoi, Hakuba and Yanaba in the Nagano area; and Tsuruoka, Atsumi Onsen and Sakata in the Shonai area.
Those who collect a stamp at one of the three hub stations—Niigata, Nagano or Tsuruoka—will receive two randomly selected mini photo cards from a set of 10 designs. At Tsuruoka Station, a clear card and a key visual sticker will also be added. Participants who collect stamps at one hub station and three sightseeing spots can enter a drawing to win an acrylic stand signed by a member.
Life-size panels and welcome posters will be installed at stations throughout each area. Limited audio content using the location-linked audio service “Locatone,” as well as special announcements by the members, will also be available.
