Air Canada will launch services to five new cities and open seven routes for the summer 2027 schedule.
The Vancouver-Guangzhou route will launch on May 4, 2027, operating three times weekly year-round. The service will be operated with a three-class Boeing 787 aircraft. Guangzhou will be the airline’s third destination in mainland China, and Air Canada will be the only North American airline serving the city.
In addition, Air Canada will operate the Toronto-Oslo route four times weekly from June 2 through October 10, 2027; the Toronto-Shannon route three times weekly from June 10 through October 2, 2027; and the Montreal-Basel route four times weekly from June 16 through October 23, 2027. All services will be operated with Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
The airline will also operate the Toronto-Nice route twice weekly from June 16 through October 23, 2027, and the Montreal-Dubrovnik route three times weekly from May 11 through October 23, 2027.
Air Canada will also resume daytime service on the Toronto-London Heathrow route and increase the Toronto-Shanghai Pudong route to one daily round trip. The Toronto-Guatemala City route, set to launch in December, will operate year-round. The Montreal-Tenerife, Lima, and Guatemala City routes will also be converted to year-round operations.
