British Airways will increase its flights between Tokyo/Haneda and London/Heathrow to twice daily starting from the summer schedule on March 31.
In October 2023, Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), visited Japan and revealed this plan. During the winter schedule, the airline operates ten round trips per week, deploying Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with the latest individual “Club Suite” business class seats.
Currently, the booking confirmation screen shows that flight BA5/6 will be operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft, and flight BA7/8 will be operated by Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. According to another document, the flights are supposed to be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft.
